Originally from a suburb in Ohio, I studied Theatre and Arts Management at Columbia College Chicago, where I caught the writing bug. Studying both classic and contemporary theatre gave me a passion for storytelling that still informs my work today. My writing has a conversational tone that feels like you’re talking to a living, breathing character instead of a flat, AI-generated voice. My non-traditional background also gives me a creative edge—I am not bogged down by rules, seek unique solutions, and welcome new challenges.

Throughout my creative career, I have led many projects from ideation to execution and have written everything from snappy social media content and compelling emails to SEO-driven blog posts and DIY recipes. I have worked in an array of different industries such as fashion, beauty, wellness, cannabis, and food and beverage.

When I’m not writing, I’m playing around in the kitchen, wandering around art galleries, and annoying my cat.
